GE Digital – Middle East & Africa
Hani Chohan is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of GE Digital for the Middle East, Africa & Tukey. He is responsible for setting overall marketing strategy and leading field marketing activities across the region. Hani also aligns with the broader GE business units and ecosystem to define new business opportunities, markets, and service models, while driving brand value and partnerships.
In his previous role as the CMO for GE Healthcare’s EAGM region covering Turkey, Saudi, the Middle East & Pakistan, Hani had oversight of channel marketing, market intelligence, solutions marketing, digital marketing, strategic programs, campaigns, and initiatives to ensure the execution of an integrated, multi-touch point strategy for the region.
As a GE veteran of nearly a decade, Hani also served as Market Development and Marketing GM for the Enterprise Solutions organization, where he drove the core-business interlock around Radiology, OR, and Education solutions. Previously, Hani held several roles in GE Life Sciences and is a graduate of GE’s renowned Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP).
Prior to GE, Hani worked as worldwide product marketing manager for Lenovo International (formerly IBM) “Think” branded offerings. He served as the small business specialist for a university-based technology incubator and as an associate for an early-stage life sciences venture capital firm. Hani has worked in product development and marketing capacities for both early- and growth-stage IT firms.
Hani is an MBA graduate of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He also holds a BS in Biochemistry, BA in Chemistry and an MS in Management, with concentrations in IT and e-Commerce from North Carolina State University.
